Eckel: San Francisco 49ers should repeat in NFC West
Offensively and defensively the 49ers have a lot of weapons on both sides of the ball. Stud wide out Michael Crabtree suffered an offseason injury that prevents him from this list, but there are still a number of fantasy difference makers found in San Francisco. Before reading this article and before drafting, Id urge you to study your league’s scoring and rules. A players value can change tremendously depending on your league’s settings, and every league is different. For this article I will assume the league is standard scoring, so take everything I say from that perspective. All of the players I discuss will have value no matter what; just make sure to check how much that value is in your case. Now, with that public service announcement out of the way, lets get back to it. Here are the top five fantasy players for the San Francisco 49ers for this year.

If Things Go Right: Wilson avoids the sophomore jinx and gets more fluid in the offense. The defense is just as good as it was last year, and the Seahawks remain Super Bowl contenders. If Things Go Wrong: Wilson takes a step back; RB Marshawn Lynch loses a step, and the defense isnt as good as last year. All that happens, and the Hawks may miss the playoffs. San Francisco 49ers new depth chart features modest changes
It’s not a painstaking process to fill out the depth chart. As I understand it, some of the coaches provide some information for the depth chart, but it seems like more of an informational tool from the public relations department. We can see that even in the safety depth chart. They list C.J. Spillman and Eric Reid as the first two safeties, and then Craig Dahl as the second strong safety. Of course, we all know Dahl got the start at free safety last week.
